The origins of Wicked Pissah

The origins of Wicked Pissah

A really good question!!! Who started this phrase and why?

History might be lost on us but what we do know is this! Wicked Pissah is a Boston thing!. The movie industry helped make it famous. Breaking down the word we have, Pissah: meaning "great" or "amazing" either realistically or sarcastically. You might also here people say and spell this as,  "pissa", or "pisser" if your talking to someone from Boston,. Occasionally combined with "wicked" to yield "wicked pissah.

If you have any historic claims to the origins of this phase, Please let us know.

Thank you

I always Wicked Pissah like 100%. I’m a proud Bostonian/New Englander.

I always assumed it started with someone that needed to take a piss, badly. As in “I need to take a wicked pissah.”. Then morphed into that great feeling afterwords. As in “That felt as good as taking a wicked pissah.” I first head it from WBCN, so ask Charles Laquidara.

In your explanation above, you misspelled ‘hear’. Instead, you spelled it “here”. Correct sound, but incorrect spelling for the intended meaning.
